Step by Step Solution impossible? - Art1616 - 06-08-2023 11:32 PM

Hi folks,

I just discovered this forum and I see a lot of people discussed step by step solutions (say, for derivative) before but it seems there's still no way to realize it.

I got my HP Prime for statistics but this semester I have a lot of calculus problems and I find that Prime can solve a lot of problems that my nspire can't solve..

We also had a lot of derivatives to calculate, we have to to these by hand. I also used my calculator when practicing to double check my work. I turn down the simplification to minimum. This way it made it very easy.
Also follow the derivative rules and you will pick it up.

Alright, I don't complain.. NSpire has some apps to give steps but it can't solve some of the integrals. Anyway, you are right, I should pick up my skills on calculus, it has been more than a decade since last time I used calculus..

g = f^n     → ln(g) = n*ln(f)      → g'/g = n*f'/f

With this, we have Feynman's Quick Method of Differentiation

The HP 50g™ calculator has an integral helper (pseudo step by solver) which is build with Risch Algorithm.
