HP41 programm listing on 80col printer - Hiwi - 07-21-2023 08:33 AM

Hi,
i like to print long hp41 listings in 3 or more columns with an Thinkjet or Deskjet550.
I have connected the printers through HP-IL / RS232.

I there a program (similar to the builtin PRP) which can manage that?
I have been searching already a while but found nothing yet.

Does anyone know, how PRP works in detail?

Ralf

Hello Ralf,

there is a function called MCPRP in the Extended IL Module, provided by Squid Ink. Just copy the ROM Image (Monte has it in his Database) into a Clonix-Module or something similar. The manual is available here: https://literature.hpcalc.org/items/1227.

best wishes

Thomas

Hi Thomas,
thank you!
Works perfect.
My first approach was to PRP it to the HP71 Translator as text and print it with the HP71.
But MCPRP from the Squid Ink Rom works fast and easy:
