48GX repurpose EQ library card as memory bank1 - grbrum - 07-21-2023 10:33 AM Hello. Is it possible to “format” the card to be repurposed as bank 1 memory? If it is possible. I hope it is also reversible as well. Does anyone know the size of the card? Thanks RE: 48GX repurpose EQ library card as memory bank1 - Steve Simpkin - 07-21-2023 11:21 AM If you are referring to the HP 82211A HP Solve Equation Library Application Card for the HP-48SX then the answer is no. This is a 128 kByte ROM card and cannot be erased or reprogrammed. RE: 48GX repurpose EQ library card as memory bank1 - grbrum - 07-22-2023 01:30 AM Too bad. I can’t seem to find a 128k card. RE: 48GX repurpose EQ library card as memory bank1 - calc_freak - 07-22-2023 01:46 AM Retrotronic in Portugal is selling 128k cards (currently in stock). I have one of those and a 1MB card (currently out of stock). They work well. Earlier units didn't fit properly, but that issue has been addressed. https://retrotronik.com/shop/ RE: 48GX repurpose EQ library card as memory bank1 - grbrum - 07-22-2023 01:55 AM Thank you. I bought one to test. If all works well I will buy for each of my 48. Thanks |
