HP-19C Part ?? - teenix - 08-08-2023 03:00 AM

Hi all,

Anyon know what the part pointed to by the arrow in the 19C image is or what it does?

The one I have here for CPU development does not have it.

cheers

Tony

Hi Tony,

Looks like the piece through which the anti-theft cable should go.

It pivots out to expose the hole.

Strange... neither of my 19C's have a built-in flip-out option for a security cable. Are we quite sure that this photo is really of a 19C? If so, did only some 19C's have this option?

Yes, I have 19Cs both with and without it. Not sure about 10As, have to check.

[EDIT] Yes, both Stings in the two flavours.
