1-line display calculator with flip-up hinge? - DA74254 - 11-23-2023 04:34 PM Hello there all. As seen before, there seems nothing is too difficult to dig up by all you fine people in here. I came into a discussion with our Captain aboard. He once had a Casio FX-700P style calc. Outgrowing this, he told me he got a similar type, though more advanced calculator, which he still claims (or as he himself means to recall), a Casio, but with a top-hinged display. ála HP LX-200 or Nokia Communicator (phone) type. Though, he also strongly "remember" that it had a 1-line display in the flip-up section. We've both tried to search for this (elusively phantom) calc, through various search phrases, but have come up blank. Has it ever existed a calc as described? Alas, Captain says it was a Casio, but it might have been another brand. Also, it might have been one made for navigation, as it came preprogrammed by his nautical school.
