What is the country of origin and s/n? 48GX from Indonesia started coming with black LCD sometime in early 2001, and the 38g was not disco'd until June 2003 so it is feasible. Thanks for raising awareness. Of course, this also creates a small problem for collectors who need to have one of each type... My particular only reason of interest: It's compatible with the InVision 48 in my collection. This happens to be the same reason why I now have an overhead projector.
