Managing/using states in Free42 & Plus42? - n3mmr - 12-20-2023 07:33 PM Can somebody explain how to do something like this: First: create a baseline state of a few programs and some variables like a variable containing the volume of 12g of pure ethanol. Save that state as AA-help-base. Second: go off to a virgin state for normal use. Third, much later: load the state AA-help-base. Add a few functions to help annotating an abuse log. Save that state as AA-abuse-log Fourth: revert to a virgin state and do other things. Fifth, a little later: load the AA-help-base state, add functions to assess the risks associated with various patterns of alcohol abuse from invented or real consumption stats. Save that state as AA-risk-assess. Revert to a virgin state. RE: Managing/using states in Free42 & Plus42? - Richard Garner - 12-21-2023 05:33 AM Hello, On both Free42 and Plus42, go to File on the top menu The first item on the list is States If you want to start from a clean machine click on Untitled from the list and then click Switch To To create a new State file click on More then choose New from the list. Name your State file and click on Ok Click on the new State file from the list and click on Switch To Load the programs and data you want to use. They will all be saved under that State flie. To use existiong programs and data in another State file, use Dupicate and Rename from the More button Repete as needed Hope this helps.
