HP-15CE strange bug in 16 mode - ark - 01-02-2024 10:58 AM Hello, I have a very nasty bug on my 15CE unit which has not been reported on this forum, and i wonder if my unit is defective. In 16c mode, values slighty above 2^n are uncorrectly displayed in decimal, but correctly in hexa, octa or binary mode. For instance, if i hit "3" then "1" in decimal mode, display is 25d, but 1Fh in hexa (input is correct), 1020 is displayed as 0924d Please can you tell me if tou have the same behaviour ? Thanks ! Thanks all the same : I'll keep it for sure ! RE: HP-15CE strange bug in 16 mode - Valentin Albillo - 01-03-2024 03:19 AM . Hi, ark, The Calculator Store offers this bundle, which consists of an HP-15C CE which includes the firmware that corrects the HP-16C bug already flashed, plus the HP-16C overlay, plus the special cable to flash further firmwares yourself. I understand that on request they can also provide doing just the flashing for you on the calc you already own and/or provide just the special cable. You might want to contact them, they're extremely friendly and reliable. V. |
