HP-17bII+ mk2 - dm319 - 06-23-2024 02:31 PM

I'm using the emulator for the silver version of the HP-17bII+ and I'm getting some funny behaviour. Could anyone verify for me the solution for this simple interest rate solve:

N: 456
PV: 270000
PMT: -14584/12
FV: 0

I'm getting INTERRUPTED.

I also cannot input 1e-10. The +/- reverses the whole number, not just the exponent.

The link for the emulator is here.

Maybe it is an emulator thing, but I am also getting digit-for-digit similar solves for other TVM problems. Would be grateful if anyone can see whether this is an issue on the physical calculator?

Maybe I should have googled first:

and here for negative exponents:

The exponent thing is odd though.
