HP39GII with PC - Pseudopsia - 06-24-2024 09:38 AM Hello, I own an HP39GII. I'm almost retired ;-) and I'm having fun programming (learning) this little machine. I've found some HP emulators that work really well. But I'd like to connect my HP39 to my computer. I have a lenovo pc and windows 11 . Can anyone help me despite the age of this machine? RE: HP39GII with PC - klesl - 06-25-2024 03:25 PM You need USB cable and conenctivity kit https://www.educalc.net/page/2336121/ But I am not sure with comatibility with Windows 11. The page mentioned above is from year 2013. RE: HP39GII with PC - rprosperi - 06-26-2024 02:22 AM Most of the older ConnKits will install and work on Win10/Win11, but you have to disable driver signing check to do the install. This video explains the process for the 50g ConnKit, but the Windows portion is the same. It's easy and safe, and the special 'mode' you put the PC into resets the next time you boot, but the CK is installed at that point and will continue to run. Good luck RE: HP39GII with PC - franz.b - 06-26-2024 07:36 PM (06-26-2024 02:22 AM)rprosperi Wrote: Most of the older ConnKits will install and work on Win10/Win11, but you have to disable driver signing check to do the install. I can confirm that it works on Windows 10, so I dare to hope it works on 11 too. Bye |
