I got a new HP Prime after giving my old one to a friend. My new one has a noticeably lower refresh rate than the old one. Both are HP Prime G2s, and my new one has the newest firmware.
I think it might be a battery thing, because the responsiveness and refresh rate increase a lot when I plug it into my computer.
Is there anything that I might be able to do at home about this?

The screen refresh rate is user-adjustable on G2 (h/w rev D) Primes. With Prime already turned on, press and hold down the On key, then press and hold down the Shift key. Now you can increase the refresh rate by pressing the "+" key, or decrease it by pressing the "-" key. There are 8 available settings.
Helpful Hint: After changing the refresh rate, power the calculator off and back on. This stores the refresh rate in flash memory, so that it doesn't get changed by warmstarts or coma mode.

That's the weird thing - I did that already. The difference between the minimum and maximum refresh rate is noticeable, but the maximum is not as smooth as it was on my old one.
