RPN-45 update - krischik - 08-08-2024 01:39 PM

Yes, it's yet another HP-45 emulator.

About 20 years ago I developed the emulator my porting Sim45 to Symbian as prove of concept to see if Symbian smartphones are actually capable of running an emulator. It worked fine. Later I ported it to Android and recently back to desktop operating system.

If anybody is interested there is a new version available: https://uiq3.sourceforge.io/rpn-45/

Thanks!

And also for your Casio simulators, which I enjoy.

I've looked on its webpage: https://uiq3.sourceforge.io/rpn-45/symbian/#installation

There is a list of JARs ("HP45-Mobile-2.0.18.jar", "HP45-S60E5-2.0.18.jar" and "HP45-UIQ3-2.0.18.jar"), but there are no hyperlinks to these JARs, and on SourceForge there is no even "2.0.18" release files (only older and newer releases are listed): https://sourceforge.net/projects/uiq3/files/RPN-45/

It would be good if on webpage there would be working hyperlinks to the latest working JARs.

Thanks.

So far, I've found older "HP45-Mobile-2.0.1.jar": https://sourceforge.net/projects/uiq3/files/RPN-45/2.0%281%29/

But it fails to work in MicroEmulator: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MicroEmulator

Only the source code was free of charge. The binaries where actually for sale. And that is still the case for Android. And truth be told: I don't think I still have them.
