Two of my replies just disappeared after edit. - krischik - 08-29-2024 02:22 PM

Two of my replies on the https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-19047.html thread just disappeared on save with a nasty looking error message. Both original and edit gone. Not even visible in the search results.

Martin.

They didn't disappear, they were simply flagged as SPAM by the automated system and moved to the moderation queue, probably due to the large number of links and media in them; both have now been released and are where you wrote them.

Thanks. I'll use fewer links in future.

It's generally not a problem to include that many links, lots of posts have even more links without getting sent to moderation. It may be because you're relatively new and made multiple posts including both photos and multiple links. In any case, no problem to write posts with lots of links, don't worry about that, and even if a post gets sidelined, a mod will see it and release it within a few hours.

Attempting to use hashtags on a forum that doesn't support them might have been a contributing factor too. Hashtags in general are very spammy.
