Different HP41 PRPLOT printing results - Christoph Giesselink - 09-02-2024 10:06 PM

All outputs made with V41 as HP41 calculator host.

is a printing from mike-stgt using his virtual HP-IL printer device oo82162A in connection with the HP82240B printer simulation in HP82240B mode and a modified IL Printer ROM to take aware of the 166 dot columns of a HP82240B printer comparing to the 168 dot columns of a HP82162A printer.

Comparing the oo82162A with the HP82162A simulation output, they're very similar with the exception of the 'x' marking the value of the function plot. The HP82240B Roman8 or ECMA94 character set have no cross symbol inside, so the replacement with the lower case 'x'.

is the output of the HP82242A module simulation in connection with the HP82240B printer simulation in HP82240B mode. Because the HP82240A and HP82240B printer has no cross symbol, the cross marking the value is drawn in graphic mode. A more contemporary result of 1988 could be achieved using the HP82240A mode with the slightly different font.

Eurekc.png

is the output of the HP82143A module simulation in connection with the HP82240B printer simulation in HP82143A mode.

Eurekd.png

[attachment=13899]

is a screenshot output of the HP-IL HP82162A printer simulation from pyILPER 1.8.8. The .PDF output cannot be used for an exact printing with Zoom 1, so the screenshot.

Eureke.png

[attachment=13900]

is a screenshot output of the HP-IL HP82162A printer simulation from pyILPER 1.8.9a1. The .PDF output cannot be used for an exact printing with Zoom 1, so the screenshot. The difference to Eurekd.png is the gap between the lines, it's identical with Eurekc.png now, the output with the HP82143A module.
