SImple Simplification - xpract - 09-16-2024 05:41 PM Hi, new prime owner trying to figure things out. I have an expression: (3h -2xh-h^2)/h When i ask the prime simplify((3h -2xh-h^2)/h)) it returns the input. I would like it to respond 3 -2x-h This is simple enough example for me to do manually but it tells me that im not understanding the prime correctly as I'm sure it can output it as desired. Is there another function or way of representing the expression that would produce the fully simplified answer? RE: SImple Simplification - Arno K - 09-17-2024 12:15 PM HI, mine does this without problems, CAS-sdettings: Simplify Minimum: need to simplify by hand, Simplify Maximum: Enter does the job. Did you perhaps enter the expression without * for multiplication? Hth Arno |
