The HP-75's I/O ROM Error #124 is "Zarquon is here". Recall that Zarquon is the prophet whose second coming is eagerly being awaited in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, the second book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy.

One of the ROMs in the expansion pod also contains the words of Samuel Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan, enter 'kubla khan' on the command line. I think this is a fairly well known Easter egg in the 75.
