I'm new to the HP-50G and have some questions - Rasmubur000 - Yesterday 05:28 PM Hi all, I recently got myself a 49G+, which I understand is basically a 50G. I've updated it to firmware 2.15. I'm very impressed by how much this calc can do, but the learning curve is definitely more steep! So far I've collected and learned how to use a 15C and a 41CX, but found myself wanting something faster for the numerical solving functions. I've done my own precursory studying and searching for my questions, but I'm not familiar with the best resources for learning what I want to learn. My questions are: 1. Can I create my own equation library like the STAT library? I really like the STAT functions available on the 50G. Especially that it includes a HELP soft menu key, and when you have the selector over a variable there is a small description at the bottom of the screen. 2. Similarly, how do I create my own equation library, including adding an image to help explain it's use? Can it be text instead of an image? Can I do this on my computer and then load the program via SD card? 3. Are there programs I can install to turn NUM.SLV into a SOFT menu similar to the S.SLV? 4. What have you found to be the best resources for learning how to use the 50G more efficiently and use all it has to offer? I've actually already read through that thread and probably the past 3-4 years' worth of threads with '50G' in the title. It definitely helped clear up a few things. RE: I'm new to the HP-50G and have some questions - Steve Simpkin - Today 05:11 AM This site features comparison tables and photo galleries for various HP RPN/RPL LCD models.
