REVIEW- HP-50g introduction videos by Tutoriales Ingeniero Civil - HPing - 11-21-2024 03:56 AM

This is a brief recommendation for the introductory video series entitled,
"HP-50g Basic Course".

- FREE video course on youtube offered by Tutoriales Ingeniero Civil
- Spanish audio and slides (English subs available for the audio)
- 11 lessons total (see free YouTube link below)

I thought this was a good "advanced beginner" course that ran at a rapid pace. It helped having some basic working knowledge of the 50g beforehand. There are about 3 hours of video but it will take more time if solving the examples (say 6 hours).

Video included several helpful example problems written on the slides that one could follow at home. Plus simple programs, shortcuts, physical key customization, etc.

Minor nit: The videos' virtual keyboard had no "red splash" over the highlighted button. And some button presses were not spoken. So one might need to rewind some segments to see what the engineer typed.

I thought the mathtutordvd was a more gentle introduction to the 50g. But these videos were a good follow up with additional information and depth.
