Color printed touch keyboard for DIY projects - HPing - 11-24-2024 05:32 PM

I bumped into an interesting touch keyboard silk-screened in color for an upcoming ZX Spectrum computer recreation project.

The YouTube video shows the board in detail with multiplexing schemes. And a follow up video shows some workarounds for multi-touch, etc. The board is made by PCBWay.

This is an interesting option for printed "physical" keys in DIY volumes. With "low" parts count.

I suppose this concept falls somewhere between LCD touchscreen buttons and double-shot physical buttons.
