For Sale: HP71B Starter Set - mfleming - 11-25-2024 07:15 PM

I'd like to offer an HP-71B (Serial # 2549A00039, Version HP71:1BBBB, HPIL:1A), with HP-IL interface, a 4 KB Ram module, and a MultiMod with standard ROM configuration. In addition, a 71B case, a 71B Quick Reference Guide, and the spare front port and card reader inserts. All covers and inserts are original.

The MultiMod has the Forth/Assembler ROM, Math 2B ROM, the JPC:F05 ROM and ULIB Library. It can be reconfigured for other ROMs of your choice, including ROMs developed with Emu71. The 4 KB Ram can be merged to increase main memory or freed to experiment with independent Ram. The case of course exhibits the known age related inner liner deterioration problem. Perhaps someone can come up with a replacement liner or other fix for this? Let me know if you have an idea or suggestion Smile

This would be a great starter set for a beginner interested in learning how to use the HP-71B and its expansive Basic language. Pair this with a Pil-Box and you're ready for the world of HP-71B computing.

Pictures attached. Asking $295, obo. Free priority mail shipping in the US.
