Does the Sharp EL-512 calculator have a (CPU, display, keyboard) self-test like those found on various HP models?
I checked a scan of the manual and nothing is mentioned there.

Have you tried a test from another calculator? Maybe it's just not documentable.

It doesn't have a reset button, and the one sequence that doesn't involve one also does nothing.
