HP-12C In Texas Politics - Mark Hardman - 10-19-2014 12:28 AM

The Democratic candidate for Texas State Comptroller, Mike Collier, is running an ad publicizing himself as a CPA and "not a farmer". I guess the GOP candidate has agriculture in his background--which of itself is likely to be a net-positive in Texas.

Here's a YouTube video of the spot. The last frame of the ad shows Mike in a pasture waving an HP-12C around at a herd of cows:

Mike Collier: CPA

On that alone, he has my vote.

I suppose I would have to ask the other three candidates on the ballot what their stance is on financial calculators before I make my decision, but this alone sounds like I should vote for him!
