"Passes all diagnostic tests"

I didn't know the WP 34S had any diagnostic tests........

Well, then it's easy to pass them all.

And I didn't think of it as vintage already...

Exactly! This listing has been around many weeks and I think the word vintage in the description was not in original listing. So, maybe it's a reference to the listing, rather than the machine Wink

It's on eBay therefore the word 'vintage' is mandatory in any calc listing. As is '@@RARE@@' (with varying numbers of @ signs). I think there is a filter that automatically adds these if the seller misses them out.

Did you see how much the winning bidder paid? It seems "vintage" status commands a nice premium.

I'm sure it does. You just forgot you put them in, that's all. I mean, it's not like an eBay listing could have anything incorrect in it.....

Well, if it wasn't for the fact that a new WP34S is available for a much lower price elsewhere, the selling price isn't unreasonable for such a powerful calculator. I would certainly consider paying that price for such a well-designed machine. There's nothing else, new or vintage, to touch it!

the worst of "copy and paste" Smile

But the result is that he sold the calculator, ..... good luck to the buyer

Agree about all the other comments about listings on TAS, we are all maybe well used to have daily a glance on it Smile
