Calc dead after attempted update - Helge Gabert - 12-03-2014 04:18 AM

I updated the virtual prime and the ConnKit OK.

But then, I tried to update my physical Prime from the ConnKit (with USB from my laptop running Windows 7 64 bit), and got stuck on Prime V13 screen (frozen). Calculator wouldn't turn off. I then tried the paperclip reset (after disconnecting the USB cable), and now my unit is dark and won't turn on. Any help?

From the following thread:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-2536.html

"Plug in the cable, hold down SYMB, press the paperclip while continuing to hold SYMB. It will now be in update mode. Open the connkit if not open, it will detect it and ask you to update again."
