Dave,
Please would you consider adding highlighting of unread messages in threads?
At the moment, when I re-open a thread that has had new messages added I really struggle to identify which are the new ones.
This link has a module that claims to do it:

Just to the left of the thread title is a green arrow. Click on that arrow and you'll be taken to the first post since your last visit.

Thanks Steve, very useful. (Shame it is accessed via a small, hard to click icon, instead of something big and easy like the thread title text.)
I'd still like to see new messages in a different colour though for when there are multiple new posts in a thread.
