Graphing d/dx - lrdheat - 03-06-2015 03:41 AM A dumb question, but I'll ask...how do I plot d/dx of a function in the function app. Example...how do I properly enter d(sin(x)^4)/dx into the function app? RE: Graphing d/dx - Helge Gabert - 03-06-2015 03:18 PM Try curly d F1(X)/curly d X=X if sin(X)^4 is in F1(X). There was a thread about this a while back . . . RE: Graphing d/dx - lrdheat - 03-06-2015 04:22 PM Thanks...the earlier thread that you suggested explained it well, and the need for x=x in the denominator as in dF(1)/dX=X was explained clearly (as opposed to the d/dx equaling X). |
