Android emulator issue when doing copy/paste from a text file - kharpster - 04-24-2015 11:59 PM I discovered an issue and began this conversation on another thread, however some may be having a similar issue and I thought it prudent to create a new thread that specifically addresses this problem. The Android emulator at this point does not appear to be able to paste text copied from a Unicode encoded text file, whereas a variety of Android text editors can. The “work around” is to insure that any text file you are trying to copy from and subsequently paste into the emulator has UTF-8 encoding. Or, open the text file with Jota on the Android device and copy it from there. I found that Jota (there may be others) copies to the clipboard with a compatible encoding. I discovered this problem when trying to create the Graph3D application in the emulator, which by the way, works very well in the Android emulator. |
