Or, suggest these should be easier on a future keyboard.

The main priority has got to be a qwerty keyboard option for when you are entering text (perhaps only on the android version where people are used to such keyboards, if that keeps examiners happy).

For individual keys:

:= for assignment (especially since some have reported Unicode issues transferring the Sto arrow - I use a User key definition)

_ underscore for program/variable names (it's on shift/chars, but it looks similar to Negate and Minus)

And Shift/Info ought to be moved. Really. If a user knows how to press a Shift before pressing Info in order to get Info, they have probably already read the pdf. But I can see why you did it. You imitated the ever-popular MSDOS Smile . Which expects users to ask for program help by typing "/?" Instead of the obvious "?".

I ask about these partly in the hope of improving future keyboard layouts, but also in the hope that there is an easy way of getting them that I have overlooked.

I suggest keeping this thread for common symbols - a separate one for people's favourite maths symbols.

Just mash both the shift and alpha together, and while holding them both down, click [-][.].

[SHIFT][SPACE]

Nope, there used to be a "Note" and a "Notes" key. It was very confusing. Info is an informational file specific to the app, and is part of the app app so...

Not sure I understand you really, but I suspect the primary target for the device wasn't alive when DOS was in primary use. :-)

The := mashup isn't good for me, but I am using a small screen on the Android and can't hold both keys at once. The _ is ok.

:= is ok on virtual calculator, but very boring on real calc.

This is a very useful command that should be easily available, there are free space on CAS soft menu, I don't see why := isn't present on that menu ?
