Y2K Was a Shock - Are We Prepared for Y4M? - Gerald H - 09-09-2015 05:43 AM

I'm hoping for some easily implemented suggestions to easing this problem

The HP-41cx had no Y2K bug. Another example of it's superiority.

Much more serious is the Y2038 bug. Yes, it's in 23 years, but this is as was the Y2K problem on 1977.

The HP Portable Plus will have a problem on 2039 but for an other reason.

A trivial problem in comparison with the millennial importance of Roman culture.

Just possibly important enough to start a new thread?

Great. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about in life...

In 23 years, will the pace of technology have made this problem go away completely (because the pace between now and then is surely a little bit faster than between 1977 and 2000)?
