"Integers" setting for number systems question - Oleksandr - 09-20-2015 10:12 AM Hi, I cannot understand what is the purpose of setting "Integers" in the Home settings, as when I choose, for example, a binary system, the calculator still interprets any numbers as decimal in Home mode, so I cannot carry out any calculations in binary number system. Can anyone please explain what is the purpose of this setting, and how to work with number systems other than decimal? /Oleksandr RE: "Integers" setting for number systems question - Tim Wessman - 09-20-2015 02:48 PM This is for the home "integer object" type. This number will be prefixed with #. For example, if you set to hex, typing #1234 ENTER will interpret that as #1234h. Inputs in other bases are always possible. You just need to type either b/o/d/h on the end of your number. You also can limit the bits (1-63) and have either signed/unsigned.
