SwissMicros DM 15L serial console debug mode and fast keystrokes - rflesch - 03-02-2016 10:40 PM The SwissMicros Voyager Calculators have a special "debug mode" that can be turned on and off by typing "d" when the calculator is connected to a serial console such as PUTTY (Win) or "Serial.app" (Mac). In debug mode all changes of the calculator's LC display are mirrored in the console window (on the computer). This is certainly a nice feature, but don't forget to turn debug mode OFF before you disconnect the calculator from the computer (by typing "d" again). If you do not disable debug mode, the calculator remains in this mode after disconnection. As a result the calculator misses fast keystrokes since the calculator still sends data to the serial console. |
