Badly corroded HP-41c - Dziugas2001 - 05-01-2016 01:27 PM

Hello everyone,
I have finally found a HP-41c in the wild. Unfortunately, it is badly corroded and I mean REALLY badly. Not only the flex cable for the battery is ruined, but the mainboard contacts are also completely destroyed. I wanted to ask you, could I just solder some balls to the mainboard and fix it? All answers are appreciated.

You can take a look here, a nice solution from a forum member.

Yeah, that looks like a good solution, unfortunately I don't know if the calculator works, so I just want to do it myself, because I like restoration projects like that.
