Testing the HP-35's chips at Mostek - EdS2 - 07-28-2016 05:18 PM I just read this great article by Fred Beckhusen, who worked in the top secret(*) testing facility at Mostek, where they were one of two manufacturers of chips for the HP-35 and successors: http://www.mitsi.com/the-hp-35-bluebird-tester/ They also tested the bulk of the world's supply of Z80s, apparently: http://www.mitsi.com/a-bit-of-z80-history/ via https://plus.google.com/u/0/+FredBeckhusen/posts/2FCVjmCmbvd and points nearby. (*) Not really. But there was a code name, and HP's name was used only on a need-to-know basis. It's a really interesting article and totally on topic for our main forum so I moved it there for better exposure. RE: Testing the HP-35's chips at Mostek - EdS2 - 07-29-2016 06:30 AM Thanks Katie!
