Different Designs of the Battery Pack 82120A for HP-41 - damaltor - 08-30-2016 11:42 AM After refurbishing a battery pack, i read something about the two different designs used inside them. I wanted to put all those things together for the future, so here you are: - Refurbishment and schematic of an "old", 3-Pin battery pack (by me): http://malte.deringenieur.net/wiederbelebung-eines-hp-41c-akkupacks-82120a/ - Refurbishment and schematic of a "new", 2-Pin battery pack (by Kees van der Sanden): http://www.keesvandersanden.nl/calculators/hp82120A.php - Discussion about the two different designs: http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/archv013.cgi?read=47494 Obviously the 2-Pin version is better. I also had that Memory-Lost-glitch once after wiggling in the connector. Also there might be possibilities to overvoltage the calculator when the batteries start to fail. |
