Virtual Calculator Not Showing Up in CK - toml_12953 - 10-27-2016 06:59 AM
I have Rev. 10638 for both the CK and virtual calculator. When I start them both in either order, the virtual calculator doesn't show up in the CK. My physical calculator (Rev. 10637) does show up when connected.

Which operating system? I'm not having this problem with Win7.

I tried reverting to the previous versions of the VC and CK. Still the same - the VC doesn't show up in the CK. I'm running Win 10 Insider Preview 14955. Maybe that has something to do with it. If so, HP might have to fix the CK for the shipping version of Win 10 Redstone 2 since that's really what this preview is supposed to be.

I just tried the VC/CK combination on another machine with Win 10 Preview Build 14955. The same thing happens. The VC doesn't show up in the CK.

I am running Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, version 1511, OS build 10586.633 (as seen in Settings / System / About).
My laptop is a Toshiba Portege Z930-10F (Intel processor).
I had both Virtual calculator and Connectivity kit at Rev. 10637 and yesterday have updated it to the latest Rev. 10638.
All is running fine here, before and after the update.
Also the physical calculator (Rev. 10637) is recognized by the Connectivity kit, even using a USB3 port.
Additional details that may have nothing to do with the issue, but since I do not know what validations is the HP software doing, it doesn't hurt to exclude them. I am installing and running the Hp programs using:
- Windows 10 pro x64 with a valid MS license and activated;
- User profile with Full permissions (local machine administrator)

Yup. It does work on build 10586 but not build 14955.

I've just verified that the problem still exists in Build 14959.
