SOLD: HandHeldComputer for sale - DGM - 12-06-2016 03:56 AM I have a device that someone could make work if they put some time into it, I feel. Early on, Panasonic and Quasar (parts of the same company, Matsushita) came out with a Hand Held Computer called the RL-H1400. I bought one and proceeded to pour money into accessories. For the right price, all of this can be yours: A semi-working unit (probably needs a new NiCD battery). The back is a little bit bunged up (see picture), but the rest of it is basically sound. I had it working today for a little bit (as is, there are four functions: calculator, clock/calendar, files, and “run Snap programs). Snap is the language that the HHC uses internally. There are a couple of different Snap programming environments I supply with this on chips: SnapForth and SnapBasic. I also have a scientific calculator chip and a Microsoft Basic chip. You can put three chips into the unit at one time. I also have a Quasar 16K (K!) memory module and all of the manuals. There are a couple of copies of a book of SnapBasic programs and a couple of copies of a technical information booklet. Perhaps I got book from Panasonic and one from Quasar. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sd7fc1h8wbu2vu0/xPanasonicHHC.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/grn0hhvp6axeh6t/Quasar16K.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ffh93q6e16xaaeb/xPanasonicHHC_Modules.JPG?dl=0 At any rate, when this was working, I wanted $300 for the lot. If any of this interests you, make me an offer. As usual, I would prefer to deal with shipping to the United States only. If you are interested, please make an offer. I don’t know what to ask for these things, and would prefer they go to a good home. I do ask that you pay the shipping, and have been pretty good at packing up the things I have sold so far.
