[BUG] FR translation of help - Tugdual - 02-23-2014 06:10 AM

FR Help for key shift+a b/c (h,m,s) refers to "hexadecimal" while it should be "sexagesimal"

RE: [BUG] FR translation of help - A_Prast - 02-23-2014 12:19 PM

Identical error in the Spanish version.

Actually this would also apply to English since as far as I know hexagesimal doesn't exist. Don't be afraid of sex...

You forgot that the calculator is intended for schools. Can you imagine a classroom of pubescent children reading "SEXagesimal" in their calculators? SCNR :-)

Edit: Forgot to mention that its "sexagesimal" in German, too. But here the help is correct, it uses "sexagesimal".

No problem. Generations of pupils used Casio calculators where the correct term is used in the manuals. And I bet every kid curious about that funny key and the square seperators in the display looked up what that means.

No uproar was ever heard ;-).
