pyILPER moved to Qt5 - jsi - 02-24-2017 09:35 AM Hi all, starting from version 1.5 pyILPER moved to Version 5 of the Qt gui framework. Version 4 of Qt is not maintained any more and thus there will be no more pyILPER releases for Qt4. Qt5 based applications will also provide a better user experience on high resolution displays. There is a a public beta prerelease 1.5.0beta1. This prerelease is also distributed over the Anaconda channels. See this instruction how to install pyILPER 1.5.0beta1 hazard-free alongside your pyILPER 1.4.0 production version. pyILPER 1.5.0beta1 does not require an updated version of the LIFUTILS. If pyILPER 1.5.0 production was released there will be an easy upgrade of your Anaconda environment to Qt5. The most notable changes of pyILPER 1.5.0beta1 are:

If you used pyILPER 1.4.0 with the Anaconda platform simply type: Code: conda install python=3.6 This will install pyILPER 1.5.0 and upgrade all runtime dependencies.
