HP 38E Repairs - tpenn246 - 04-14-2017 07:40 PM I have managed to tear the power ribbons (is that the right term?) on my two 38E, one of which I have had for a long time. Is there any place that anyone knows of that can repair these units or should I just put them up for sale to someone who can use them for parts? Thanks for the help. RE: HP 38E Repairs - Geoff Quickfall - 04-15-2017 12:55 AM If you got that far and don't care about the charger function then: Trace the positive on the ribbon from the battery contact to the the PCA and jump with a wire. The repeat exercise for the anode trace. If you want charger function you will notice a third trace: jump that. Look at this link for a 34c repair I did 34C repair |
