HP 38E Repairs - tpenn246 - 04-14-2017 07:40 PM

I have managed to tear the power ribbons (is that the right term?) on my two 38E, one of which I have had for a long time.

Is there any place that anyone knows of that can repair these units or should I just put them up for sale to someone who can use them for parts?

Thanks for the help.

If you got that far and don't care about the charger function then:

Trace the positive on the ribbon from the battery contact to the the PCA and jump with a wire. The repeat exercise for the anode trace. If you want charger function you will notice a third trace: jump that.
