Processor's and Speeds - KD8TZC - 06-24-2017 05:27 PM I was building out a worksheet of all the HP calculators that I own (more for insurance reasons) but one of the things I was looking to add just for my benefit was the processor and the speed for the calculators. David does a fantastic job on the museum, but unless I am just missing it, is there a page or a way to find the processor that was in each of the units (if applicable as I'm sure some of the early models didn't really have a "processor" like we think of now days) and approx how fast they ran? I thought I saw for the 46GX that it ran between 3 - 4 mhz, which seems really fast next to some of the older models. Anyhow, if anyone can point me to where I might find this, I would appreciate it. Possibly I am wasting my time. RE: Processor's and Speeds - pier4r - 06-24-2017 06:43 PM Idea : you may include how they run doing a particular routine like the savage benchmark (you need to search although some results are collected in the wiki in my sign) http://www.wiki4hp.com/doku.php?id=benchmarks:savage RE: Processor's and Speeds - Gerson W.
