Voyager keyboard repair - Thomas Okken - 11-15-2017 05:32 PM A few weeks ago, I bought an HP-10C. Cosmetically, the calculator is in poor shape, but electronically, it works fine: it passes the self-tests, I can run programs on it, all the display segments work. The only problem is the keyboard: some of the keys require extra pressure to register, like ON, f, +, and a few others. Given that there are traces of leakage in the battery compartment, I'm guessing there's gunk inside the keyboard, and that a good cleaning might get it back into good working condition. Before I open it up, though, does anyone have recommendations for fixing / cleaning Voyager keyboards? RE: Voyager keyboard repair - AndiGer - 11-15-2017 06:38 PM Maybe you can try the wash in water method? http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/archv016.cgi?read=92663 Did it with an 11C. Avoided to dunk the display into water.
