HP41Z - Benoit Maag - 12-24-2017 04:52 PM

I am trying to use the HP41Z deluxe module on my 41CL
After installing 441Z and Z4DL, I can start the complex keyboard (ZKBRD), but as soon as I press ENTER^, I get a NO LIBRARY error - what am I missing?

You loaded also LIBRARY4.ROM (Library-4), did you?

I thought I did but I guess I loaded the wrong module (Z4DL and 441Z)
You mean 4LIB? I just tried the below sequences:
“Z4DL” in ALPHA, XEQ PLUG2
“4LIB” in ALPhA, XEQ PLUG4
The the display shows (c) AMC 2016 and The machine becomes unresponsive

“4LIB” in ALPHA, XEQ PLUG2
Then I go to ALPHA, and as soon as I type Z, the machine starts a CAT1. All I can do then is R/S to stop and restart CAT1 but nothing else works, not even a memory clear (I have to unplug the battery)

What am I missing?
Thank you for your help

Bonjour Benoit,

The procedure for using LIB4 in 41CL is described in "Programming the MMU" section page 71 of the 41CL Calculator Manual (here).

To map LIB4 to page 4 bank 1 do the following:
Code:
"804040-8120"
YPOKE

Then map your module:
Code:
“Z4DL”
PLUG2

Sylvain
