When did the ENTER arrow go?

The [ENTER] key had an arrow at the start (in the very first 35) and kept it for a while, but the latest models don't have it. When did it disappear? Voyager?

On my 33s the ENTER key got so small that the arrow probably just fell off the edge.

It was on the 41C but not on the 28C. I don't think there was anything in between but I am often mistaken...

I'm pretty sure the Voyagers were the first with arrow-less ENTER keys.

Actually the HP-10 in 1977 had no arrow on the Enter key, but that's because the HP-10 had no Enter key, however it did have a dedicated up-arrow key! Weirdest damn machine to come out of Corvallis ever.

I initially was going to use this one (it's great of course as it shows it only took 1 machine to change their mind...) but decided the HP-10 is even more interesting, since most folks think the Pioneers (10B, 14B, 20S, etc.) were HP's first non-RPN machines. Read the manual for this one if you don't have one, it's a strange beast.

here is the one I was talking about in another post, two different kinds of arrow: in the 35 (except for the latest version), it seems drawed by hand

Interesting, I'll have to check my 35, I don't recall that. It's interesting that the style of the up-arrow is toyally different from the style of the down-arrow a row above on the bezel.

and strange that in this prototype there is a "newer style" arrow
and look a the others

you can see all the arrow type used for the 35
