Restrict editing to an hour or less. This is a reasonable timeframe imo.

Is there no mechanism to email users in danger of being kicked out of the forum?

So if Joe Horn stops posting and he gets dropped does all his posts get auto-deleted?

Thanks

No, there would be an unclickable Joe Horn mark above, completed with an unregistered info below. See e.g. here (Post #2) for me (rkf) after being pruned. If Joe Horn would register again, the old postings would not be connected to his new account.

So on 02-20-2014, 07:48 PM rkf posted a message, so message shows as "Unregistered". But now rkf re-regestered and is Online as a Junior Member because he re-Joined: Apr 2014. But the system was set to prune accounts with low post counts starting at 120 days, but was just increased it to one year. ...let me get my calculator, something isn't right.

Can't happen. Basic laws of physics would prevent such an occurance...

While several people have asked for pruning to be based on last login instead of post count – no such feature even exists in the software. Thus, Joe's account (with 194 posts so far) is safe from pruning even if he moves to a cave with no internet connectivity.

And posts were not deleted under original or new settings.

Old settings:
3 posts within the first 120 days

New Settings:
1 post within the first 365 days.

Joe was nowhere near either.

Feel free to comment on whatever you like. If you'd use my mother tongue for that I'd appreciate it even more. But don't use Alabama automation for translating.

Is "Arkansonian" really the correct term for someone from Arkansas? I would not have guessed right if I had to.

I've heard people from there say that (phonetically) it's ar-kan-soy-er. I don't know if they were kidding or how to spell it if it's real. I do know that it is NOT Arkansan. Them's fightin' words, yankee.

Wikipedia says that the US Government Printing Office recommends Arkansan, and also says that Arkansawyer and Arkie are alternate demonyms.
