Quick question: how to do Volume formula on the solver
Can you tell me how I can calculate a variable of a volume on the prime if I do V=W*L*H than I input on W 2.5 and 5.5 on H I got 0 on V

RE: Quick question: how to do Volume formula on the solver
Good morning.

From the attached figure I deduce that W = 2.5, L = 5.5, H = 0. So V = 2.5 * 5.5 * 0 = 0. Where is the problem?

If I do the sa me with a hp 42S (with a program) the calculator would solve for the variable that got no number or 0

I want to do the same on the prime

RE: Quick question: how to do Volume formula on the solver
But if the volume is zero, one of the dimensions must be zero. Or the other way around: If one dimension is zero, the volume will be zero as well. What do you expect?!

Can you explain why is working with the 42S but not the prime ?

On the 42S I got L=7.272727272727272727272727272727273 But not on the prime

RE: Quick question: how to do Volume formula on the solver
I saw that you put V = 100, W = 2.5 and L = 5.5 --> Look at my attachment.

RE: Quick question: how to do Volume formula on the solver
Put in E1: V = W * H * L; now press the "Num" key. Put in V: 100; put in W: 2.5; put in L: 5.5; now go with the cursor on the rectangle to the right of H: and press "Solve".
