Hp Prime G2 - Exam Mode, No Clock, No connectivity
I have owned and used a Ti-nspire CAS for 10 years and a few days ago someone I know gave me a HP Prime G2 for free as he hadn't used it in over a year. The calc works fine but has three issues.

1) It is stuck in exam mode with a single green LED flashing.
2) It is not recognised by the PC when I connect using connectivity software
3) The date and time cannot be changed

I have tried

a) Reset....did not work
b) Hard reset....CFO + reset.....did not work
c) removed battery and replaced after 1 minute....did not work

The battery holds a good charge and when plugged into PC it charges.

Other than that the calculator is in pristine condition and all seems to work well.

My thought is that an internal CMOS battery may need replacing. I welcome suggestions on how to fix the calc and make it 100% perfect.

Thanks in advance for help.

There's no separate CMOS battery. Everything runs off the smartphone-type battery (in fact you can replace it with a smartphone battery of higher capacity.) After taking out the battery, hold down the ON key for 30 seconds then replace the battery and see if that helps.
