Storing calculators with CR2032 installed
Can it be considered safe to store calculators with CR2032 Lithium batteries installed (e.g. HP12C Platinum, HP15C LE, HP35S)?

I don't know that it could be considered 100% safe, but lithium coin cells are far less likely to leak than alkaline batteries. I've only seen a leaky CR2032 a couple of times, and it's generally been much less catastrophic than AAs or AAAs.

N-Cells too. Those bad boys seem to have a "leak-on" date when manufactured.

No, not really. If you're going to store any electronic device, remove any batteries. You might get away with it 99 times out of 100 but that 100th time could destroy a valuable machine.
