CASIO CAS Calculator plans
It’s been quite some time since last CASIO CAS model. Anyone have a hint on any plans for a new, faster model with more enhancements in the CAS? I would like to see what CASIO could accomplish!

RE: CASIO CAS Calculator plans
Look at their business report:
https://world.casio.com/media/ir/results...22_2nd.pdf Apparently, they are spending major development efforts on their on-line learning platform classpad.net. Many Japanese companies pursue "recurring revenue" model, and classpad.net is Casio's attempt in this direction. It does not look like they plan another physical CAS calculator. I'm puzzled to see that Casio does not abandon electronic dictionary business despite its small market size and low margin. A new CAS calculator could bring a better ROI for their R&D money. |
