TI-36X Pro/30X Pro Mathprint integral evaluation
Hi all. After trying out the 36X with the HP-34C manual with the integral of sin(x)/x bounded by 2 and 0, it seems that I get a math error. This leads me to think that these calcs evaluate an integral at both endpoints. Has this been your experience? What have you adapted as a workaround?

I tried it with the TI-30X Pro and it gave immediately the result 1.6054.
Perhaps there was an improvement in the software from the 36X Pro to the 30X pro? |

Both (old 30XPro MultiView AND new 30XPro MathPrint) evaluates perfectly.

I do not have access to my various CASIO’s (am out of pocket), but they seem to often (but not always) have issues with endpoints that produce an Undefined result where as the 30X MathPrint is able to handle them. The HP 35S also handles these issues although it is often preferable to have a larger epsilon as the calculation can take a much longer time than with the MathPrint in these cases. The MathPrint will also handle cases with an undefined point within the domain being integrated.

Makes me wonder that the reason for the 36X lacking the ability to handle troublesome endpoints or other errors resulting from evaluating values within the endpoints is because the 36X Pro is designed for students rather than engineers and other upper level scientists. Maybe? |

I tried it with an older 36x pro, as well as a 36x pro about a year old, and both evaluate the integral just fine.
(And as other have already reported the 30x pro mathprint also works fine.) ENTER > = |

I cannot reproduce the error on TI-36X Pro, TI-30X Pro MultiView or TI-30X Pro MathPrint in degrees mode and radians mode (I didn't bother testing gradians mode), and using regular division and fraction bar.
