Connectivity kit not working, Windows 10 advice needed

Hey everyone I've recently bought a HP prime it just came with the calculator and a usb cable.

I've downloaded the connectivity kit to my laptop but I can't get any screens to pop up, it downloads and when i try to open the file nothing happens it just reinstalls itself.

My laptops does recognise a hp prime is connected though.

I need to get there connectivity kit working because I need to upload some software onto the calculator, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: FIXED IT FINALLY!!! After I downloaded it to my laptop I had to open it as administrator turns out my firewall was blocking access.
